The final concert of the guest tour of the Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” took place in Ulyanovsk

On stage of the Palace of Culture “Gubernatorsky” the Ballet presented “The Russian National Dance Show “Kostroma” much loved by Ulyanovsk citizens. The first Show was held last spring within the project «Nation’s Spiritual Health».

On that day, leaving the Polar lands, the Urals and Vyatka behind and completing the 8,250-kilometer journey, «Kostroma» presented the history of Russia, reopening it for itself again, after the Ballet artists have just seen it with their own eyes.

Feeling patriotic and impressed and proud for the power, the beauty and the diversity of their native country the artists performed their parts in front of the grateful audience that stood up and gave a big round of applause at the end of the Show.

The people of Ulyanovsk wrote in the Ballet’s comments book:

«It was absolutely fabulous! Thank you for what you’re doing: this isn’t only dancing or theatre, it’s an unbelievably beautiful tribute to femininity, masculinity, grace, tenderness and charm. It wasn’t just your body dancing, you danced with flickers of eyelashes, glances, breaths and you souls! Thank you for creating and conveying such feelings, emotions and admiration. You are a miracle and your work deserves the maximum praise.”

Simply incomparable! It was just like being in a fairy tale. Well-well-well, Kostroma – keep going! You’re a miracle! Great job!”
