The Russian national Ballet “Kostroma” presented “The Russian National Dance Show “Kostroma”

The Russian national Ballet “Kostroma” presented “The Russian National Dance Show “Kostroma” in Kazan.

The solo performance took place on stage of Tatar Academic State Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after Musa Jalil.

Kazan welcomed the guests from Kostroma with the full house and loud rounds of applause. The two cities have already been friends for several years so the Ballet has given solo performances more than once. The stage of Tatar Theatre of Opera and Ballet also hosted the students of Kostroma Choreographic College “The Governorate Ballet School” when they took part in the “International Festival of Dance Schools and Colleges” in 2006, 2008 and 2012.

Now the audience could see two graduates of Kazan Dance College, Diana Zakhirova and Albina Gilmetdinova, who were also born in the capital of Tatarstan as artists of the Russian National Ballet “Kostroma”.

At the finale of “The Russian National Dance Show “Kostroma” Flun Fagimovich Gumerov, the President of the jewelry company “Almaz Holding”, gave a speech to thank the audience for their warm welcome: “…It’s true that I do have faith in my Motherland Tatarstan and my small motherland Kostroma that are untied not only by the Volga but by cultural and business connections”.
