The Ballet got a present from the hands of the author himself.
During the final exams time in “The Governorate Ballet School” (Dance College) Anatoliy Borzov, a professor and an Honored Artist of the Russian SFSR, presented the 2nd volume of his text book “Grammar of Russian Dance” to Yuri Tsarenko, the Art Director of the Russian National Ballet “Kostroma”. All the three volumes have been published with the support of the Russian National Ballet “Kostroma”.
The 2nd volume is especially significant for the Ballet. Anatoliy Borzov describes in his book the positions of hands for creating female images used by Yuri Tsarenko, the stage and ballet master, in his choreographic compositions “The Heart’s Warmth is Called the Filigree” and “The Prayer”. The professor tells that uniqueness, historical roots and symbolism of the positions are one of the ways of being innovative when it comes to the author’s style of the Russian National Ballet “Kostroma”.
