The fosterlings of Mother Theresa’s Sisters’ Society came to see The Russian National Dance Show “Ko

On this night, the guests of The Russian National Dance Show “Kostroma” in “Russkaya Pesnya” Folklore Theater were the children who used to be homeless but who were fostered by Mother Theresa’s Sisters’ Society. The Ballet has been friends with the Society for quite a long time and is always happy to welcome its fosterlings to the Ballet’s shows.

There are not many Mother Theresa’s sisters in Moscow but they take care of those people who have been refused by absolutely everybody: these are children with serious developmental defects, those who are slowly dying alone and very ill people or people beyond help. Every sister is what we would normally call a hero. This order combines praying practices of contemplative orders and the hardest work characteristic of acting orders. Nobody knows when these women sleep. They are a true monument to Saint Theresa of Calcutta.
