“Kostroma” studies Irish dancing.

While being on their traditional summer guest tour in Moscow the Ballet continued its work in the new international program “World Street”. Before the 69^th performance of the show the Ballet’s artists attended Sergei Nazarov’s workshop of Irish dancing.

Sergei Nazarov is the first and only artist who has worked in the world-known Irish shows “Lord of the Dance” and “Feet of Flames”. Now he is a soloist of the show “Danceperados of Ireland” as well as the soloist and a coach of the show “Rhythm in the Night”.

A turn based on Irish dancing lexis is meant to become the next fragment of the program “World Street” that is supposed to convey the unity and diversity of the international dancing culture. The first two premier compositions were “Flamenco” and “Gypsies”.
