The Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” represented the culture of Kostroma Oblast in Ingushetia.

The Ballet, being a part of Kostroma delegation that paid a return visit to Nazran, took part in the Days of Kostroma Oblast culture in Ingushetia.

The Ballet presented the ethnographical part of the authorial program of Yuri Tsarenko, the Art Director and the Chief Ballet Master of the Ballet, the Honored Worker of Art of the Russian Federation, called “The Russian National Dance Show “Kostroma”. The performance of “Kostroma”, that is a dance company acknowledged as an object of cultural heritage of Kostroma Oblast, became the climax of the events dedicated to the cross-cultural exchange. The show reflects the culture of the peoples living on the territory of Russia: Russians, Kazaks, Jews, Koryaks, Buryats, Tatars and the Caucasians thus telling a story of people and their small motherlands of the big multinational country.

The members of the audience left a lot of words of gratitude in the Ballet’s Comments Book:

In the end of this friendly and extremely hospitable meeting of the delegations of Ingushetia and Kostroma Oblast there was a festive party opened by the State Folk Dance Company “Ingushetia”, Yunus-bek Yevkurov, the President of the Republic of Ingushetia, and Sergei Sitnikov, the Governor of Kostroma Oblast. Elena and Yuri Tsarenko, the managers of the Russian Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” were given a letter of gratitude from the Ministry of Culture and Archive Keeping of the Republic of Ingushetia “For a great contribution to the organization and holding the Days of Culture of Kostroma Oblast in the Republic of Ingushetia and highly professional acting skills”.
