The Ballet presented a part from the performance “The Russian National Dance Show “Kostroma” about the great history of the great country reflecting the richness and the diversity of the cultures of the united multinational people in Russia.

The National Day of Unity is becoming more and more popular in Russia. It is the pride for their Motherland, for her past and present as well as the faith in her happy future that always unites people thus making them one nation. The holiday that makes us proud of our country, the National Day of Unity, is a truly great day.

Sergei Konstantinovich Sitnikov, the Governor of Kostroma Oblast, opened the festive event. More than 800 people were the members of the celebratory meeting and watched the concert of the Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” in the Culture and Exhibition Center “Gubernsky”. There were representatives of Kostroma Oblast and Kostroma City Administration, Kostroma Oblast Duma, political parties, youth non-governmental organizations, public leaders, historians, teachers, workers of culture and art.
