«Kostroma» opens Perm, a city of Ballet.

«Kostroma» opens Perm, a city of Ballet. Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” visited Perm while moving from Siberia to the Urals with the guest tour. The third ballet capital saw «The Russian National  Dance Show “Kostroma”. The concert took place on stage of Community Center named after A. G. Soldatov within the framework of the Ballet’s social program «Nation’s Spiritual Health». The charity show was supported by the Ministry of Culture of Perm Krai.

Perm was the first city that became a new partner for the Ballet’s social program «Nation’s Spiritual Health» thus letting the people get new experience from the live core culture.

«Nation’s Spiritual Health» is the program of the Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” that helps it to keep, develop and promote culture in different parts of Russia. Through creative images and sacred things shown in the program, the team of artists is trying to form a caring attitude of Russian people to their own history where the spirituality has always served as a basis for strengthening the national unity.

The guests of the concert were the children from orphanages, boarding houses, rehabilitation centers, fosterlings of charity funds, veterans of war, the retired, the disabled and the children from multi-child families and families in need.

The students of Perm State College of Choreography, who had taken part in the folk stage dance workshop organized by the teachers and graduates of “The Governorate Ballet School” (now the artists of “Kostroma” Ballet) earlier that day, were also invited to the concert.

The audience bid farewell to “Kostroma” standing.

The people of Perm left warm entries full of gratitude, love and best wishes in the Ballet’s Comments Book:
