“Kostroma” is working on a new premier.

Colin Dunn is a professional Irish dancer. He was called to be the Greatest Irish Dancer of all times by the Irish Post newspaper in 1998. His achievements include 9 world, 11 British, 9 Irish and 8 English champion titles in Irish dancing. He is the author of the idea and staging of the Show called “Dancing on Dangerous Ground” created together with Jean Buttler, his partner in Riverdance.

The artists were supposed to do a lot in three days. They had to fully engage themselves in studying Irish dancing and try to master choreography that they are completely unfamiliar with. By attending the workshops from the beginner level to the professional one the Kostroma artists managed to master the vital basics, some techniques and even try themselves in performing some simple dance combinations.

The beginning is half the battle. The artists are looking forward to exciting work and months of preparation for the Irish premier of the program “The Street of the World”. The team is going to see Colin Dunn again this summer during the Russian National Dance Show «Kostroma», the annual project of the Ballet in Moscow.
