Premier of the new program in Kostroma
On the 15th of November 2007 on stage of the Concert and Exhibition Center “Gubernsky” the National Ballet “Kostroma" presented their new longed-for program “Great Mysterious Rus”. The unique performance, organically combining traditional pieces of Russian culture and modern stage design, was shown in the native city of Kostroma. Choreography and staging by Yuri Tsarenko as usual exceed the highest expectations of the audience with its beauty and exquisiteness. The program makes good use of the most advanced technologies and impressive decorations are specially made by the best theatre professionals of Saint-Petersburg who also work with world wide known theatres and use original sketches of Boris Golodnitsky.
The premier was a success, the rounds of applause did not seem to stop, and there were lots of flowers and words of gratitude. Igor Slunyayev, Kostroma region Governor, congratulated the participants of the program “Great Mysterious Rus” in person. “Russian means the best!” all the press quoted the Governor’s words in their reports and articles dedicated to the premier of National Ballet “Kostroma”.
