The National Ballet “Kostroma” took part in the 9th International Art Festival in Shanghai

The National Ballet “Kostroma” took part in the 9^th International Art Festival in Shanghai from the 1^st to the 9^th of November 2007. The journey from Moscow to the business capital of the People's Republic of China was an eight-hour flight but the bright sun and the warm weather helped the dancers to acclimatize and cope with a five-hour time difference.

National Ballet “Kostroma” presented the concluding concerts of the program “National Russian Show”. They had a great success in small provincial towns with the population of more than 2 mln people. The finale of the guest tour was the solo concert of National Russian Ballet “Kostroma” which took place on the main stage of the world famous Bolshoi Theatre of Shanghai. The international audience was extremely generous to the participants showing their sincere admiration by giving them loud rounds of applause.
