Russian National Ballet - “Kostroma” has finished its 10th season in Moscow

Before the commencement of the show in the Big Concert Hall “Kosmos”, where the ballet’s annual summer tour is held in Moscow, a solemn event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Kostroma region was held with a jewelry exhibition showcasing the crafts of Kostroma.  Honorary guests of the celebration included the governor of the Kostroma region - Sergey K. Sitnikov, members of the Federation Council, deputies of the State Duma as well as officials of federal ministries and agencies.  

Over the course of 10 years, the historical spectacle of the “Russian National Dance Show – Kostroma”, has earned a great popularity among compatriots and foreign guests. They love it and look forward in seeing it again. It amuses, inspires and gives people a sense of joy, peace and well-being. The guestbook of the “Russian National Dance Show - Kostroma” is filled
with hundreds of letters of appreciation and wishes from Russian families, pensioners, children and foreign tourists.    

The show, representing the massiveness of this great country, depicting the history and life of the multinational population of Russia, has once again generated a sincere reception in the eyes of the audience. Continuouslysold-out performances, loud audience applause, standing ovations and of course the flowers from the governor of the Kostroma region, were all a gift reaffirming the successful completion of the 10th anniversary season of the “Russian National Dance Show - Kostroma” in Moscow.
