Delegation of American students and teachers that came on Russian-American exchange programme of Kostroma City School №34, visited “The Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” – one of the main brands of Kostroma City.

“The Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” finished the tour in Australia and New Zealand.

The last performance of the tour took place in Blenheim (New Zealand) and became the 38th show of the successful tour that took place in the most remote countries of the world. 32 cities, 38 shows, 5 domestic flights, 2 international flights, 9 000 kilometers in 107 hours on the bus.

While on Australia-New Zealand tour “The Russian National Dance Show “Kostroma” carried out master-classes in Russian Folk Dance in Christchurch (Southern Island of New Zealand) for the 23 students of The New Zealand ballet School “The Southern Ballet Theatre”. The classes were given by Irina and Alexey Rubtsov - the leading dancers of “The Russian national ballet “Kostroma” and leading folk dance teachers of the choreographic college “the Governorate Ballet School”

While on tour in New Zealand “The Russian national ballet “Kostroma” was given the honor of opening one of the most ancient theatres of the Southern Island of New Zealand - The ISAAC THEATRE in Christchurch that was reconstructed after the earthquake of 2011.
