The ballet “Kostroma” will perform the Asian-Buddhist dances

Unique master-classes on dances of the people of Tuva, Buryatia and Kalmykia were held at “The Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” from 17 to 21 of February. As a result, the Asian-Buddhist part will become the part of multinational and historical concept of the performance “Russian National Dance Show “Kostroma”.

On the 4th of February, 2014 “The Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” performed on the stage of “The Zimny Theatre” within the opening of the 126th session of International Olympic Committee in Sochi. The festive event was marked by personal messages of the president of Russian Federation - Vladimir Putin and the president of International Olympic Committee – Thomas Bach to all members of the Committee.

On the 24th of January the opening ceremony of the largest educational forum held by the Russian Orthodox Church – XXI International Christmas Readings - took place on the stage of the State Kremlin Palace through the blessing and the chairmanship of his Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia – Kirill. Traditionally, the first day of “The Christmas Readings” was opened with the concert program. This year it was presented by “The Russian National Ballet “Kostroma”.
