“Kostroma” Ballet continues its quest tour in Yoshkar-Ola

The Show took place in Mariysky State Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after Eric Sapayev. It was not the first time that the Ballet has come to the land of the Mari; it came here nine years ago with the program about Great Mysterious Rus. This time the Ballet presented a new show, «The Russian National Dance Show “Kostroma”, telling about the history of Rus and the life of the people.

The second half of the Ballet’s guest tour of Russian cities started in Kirov. In 2016, for the first time ever, the Kostroma artists had presented their art on the native land of Dymkov toys within the framework of the promotional program «Nation’s Spiritual Health». It was then, after a warm welcome of «The Russian National Dance Show “Kostroma” paid by Kirov citizens, that the artists had promised to come back again.

«Kostroma» opens Perm, a city of Ballet.

Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” visited Perm while moving from Siberia to the Urals with the guest tour. The third ballet capital saw «The Russian National Dance Show “Kostroma”. The concert took place on stage of Community Center named after A. G. Soldatov within the framework of the Ballet’s social program «Nation’s Spiritual Health». The charity show was supported by the Ministry of Culture of Perm Krai.

The artists of “Kostroma” held a workshop in Perm State College of Chireography.

The workshop was held within the educational project of «The Governorate Ballet School” Opens Its Doors…” during the guest tour of the Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” in Perm. The class was given by the Ballet’s soloists, coaches, the teaches of folk stage dance of «The Governorate Ballet School” – Aleksei and Irina Rubtsov, Yury Tsarenko, the Artistic Director of the College and “Kostroma” Ballet and an Honored Worker of Art of the Russian Federation – and the younger generation of the artists, College graduates of 2016.

Tumen gave a warm welcome with a truly Siberian hospitality.

The third show of the guest tour of the Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” took place in the oldest Siberian city. The performance was held within the framework of the Folk Art Festival called “Russian Spring” organized by Tumen Philharmonic Society from the 20th of February to the 25th of March. Famous Russian dance and song companies preserving the traditions of the authentic music culture such as Omsk Russian Folk Choir, “Berezka” company and Dance Company of Siberia named after M. S. Godenko were among the other participants of the Festival
